HENRY ALLAN ALEXANDER

or Sandy to friends and family, was born May 11, 1949 in Penticton, BC. Sandy passed away in his sleep, the result of a heart attack, on December 28, 2008 in Edmonton, AB. Sandy was a hard worker and proud member of IBEW 424. He traveled to Edmonton, along with his son, in the spring of 2002 and had been plying his trade in the oil industry. He always enjoyed his work and the company of his peers. The good-natured ribbing, the laughs and the camaraderie of good friends, of whom, he often spoke fondly of. Sandy was a funny, compassionate and generous person. He could spin a yarn with ease or regale you with a tale from his past. He loved to laugh and joke, his comedic timing always on point. He was a loving father and a good friend. Sandy is survived by his son Aaron, mother Winn, sister Patti, numerous friends and extended family. A celebration of Sandys life will take place in the Kelowna/Beaverale area in May. For more information, contact Aaron Allan at (780) 903-6961.
