MCCORMICK, Howard Passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully, on Sunday, June 19, 2016 at the age of 93 years. He is survived by his loving wife Jean of 41 years, son Rob (Maria) of Toronto, ON, sister Phyllis Lund of Peace River, AB, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Howard is also survived by his close friend Bob Van Tassel. Predeceased by eight brothers and sisters. Howard was a veteran of the Second World War, and was known for being very brave. He had a very quick wit, and always had a mischievous twinkle in his eye. Howard will be sadly missed by all. A Celebration of Howard’s life will be held on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, with Reverend Isaac Graham officiating.
