JENSEN, HUBERT LESLIE
Hubert Leslie Jensen was born on November 5th, 1925,to his parents, Otto and Katieanna, in the rural farm land of Homeglen, Alberta. Hubert lived a full life of work, travel, and leisure that spanned a lively 90 years until his
peaceful passing at the Kelowna General Hospital on April 25th, 2016. Hubert is
pre-deceased by his wife Anne; his brothers, Lawrence and Rodney; and his sisters, Emily, Evelyn, and Lucille. Hubert is remembered by his sisters Marion and Hazel. Grandpa J’s legacy lives on through his daughters, Cheryl Aisthorpe (Cliff) and Carole Bindon (Morley); grandchildren, Alana (Brett), Joshua (Shelley), James, and Amanda; and great-grandchild, Audrey. During Hubert’s retirement years, he was an active community volunteer and enjoyed many social events with his dance partner, Elsie. A celebration of Hubert’s life will take place in August with date and time to be determined.
