GOLTZ, Jean Laura (nee Stirling)
Passed into the presence of her Lord and Savior on December 17th, 2010. Jean was born in Calgary, AB, on October 12, 1920 to Charlotte Hind Stirling and Ronald Douglas Stirling. Jean resided in Kelowna since 1945, when she came here with her husband, Rudy, who established Pendozi Machine Shop on South Pandosy at that time. Predeceased by her husband, Rudy Goltz, in 1995, her siblings Neil Stirling, John Stirling, Ruth Johnson and Mary Bishop. Survived by daughters Judy Kent of West Kelowna and Carol (Joe) Czech of Kelowna, grandchildren Heather Czech Vernon, Holly Czech Overgaard and Sean Kent and four great grandchildren. Jean worked with the mentally handicapped in the 60’s and later served many years as a volunteer at Trinity Baptist Library. Many thanks to the warm and loving staff at Cottonwoods. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 1:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road with Dr. Gordon Fletcher officiating.
