Jean Secord born March 16,1936 in Garland Manitoba passed away in Kelowna on February 5, 2022.
She got her nursing degree in 1957 in Dauphin, Manitoba, then got a degree in Hospital Organization and Management in 1971 in Toronto, Ontario. She was instrumental in setting up different departments in hospitals. She set up the GI lab and Vascular lab in Kelowna. She received a commendation from the Canadian Government.
She is pre-deceased by Her brothers Walter and Isador Woronchak. Survived by her sisters Ollie Ann Elwen and Angie. Sons, Jeff,Greg and Aaron. Four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
The family thanks all the staff at Kelowna Hospice for their excellent care of Jean in her last week.
