passed away suddenly on Friday, October 10, 2008 at the age of 54.  He is survived by his loving family, daughter Emily; three sons: Justin, Joey, Max; their mother Sherree; John’s mother Anne Connolly (Roy) of Guelph, ON; brother Paul Eisner of Mississauga, ON; two sisters: Katherine Garber (Neil) of Ventura, CA, Karen Scales (Gary) of Dorval, Quebec and numerous other relatives and friends.  Predeceased by his daughter Sam in 1990.  John was well known and loved in the soccer community and will be greatly missed by all.  A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, October 20th at 1:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC.  In lieu of flowers, donations willing accepted for the John Eisner Family Fund, c/o Okanagan Mission Youth Soccer Association, Box 29076 RPO Okanagan Mission, Kelowna, BC V1W 4A7.
