John Heidebrecht

John Heidebrecht passed into the presence of the Lord on Tuesday morning. Survived by his loving wife, Mary, of 63 years, his son Allen (Louise) Heidebrecht of Grande Prairie, Alberta; daughters Lorraine (John) Baergen of Lake Country, BC, Caroline (Carl) High of Vienna Austria, Irma (Bruce) Stevens of Nanaimo BC, Verda (Chris) Varley of London, England, Terril (Bruce) Elwood of Lake Country BC; grandchildren Byron and Brent (Sabrina) Baergen, Darla (Shaun) Smith, Denise (Greg) Tonn, Jesse, Caleb and Seth Stevens, Nicole, Adrian and Karina High, Samuel and Harrison Varley, Alexis and Adam Elwood; great-grandchildren Carter, Kaden and Ty Smith, Sawyer and Mason Baergen, Heath Tonn; surviving siblings, Margaret Boese, Wilma Pries, Erna (Goosen) Reimer, George Heidebrecht. Predeceased by four brothers and one sister. Central to his life were his deep love for Jesus Christ and his local church. He was completely committed in love and prayer to his wife and family. Having retired from the family farm near Grande Prairie, Alberta, Dad remained a farmer at heart. There will be a viewing at Everden Rust Funeral Services, 1910 Windsor Road, Kelowna, from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. February 14th followed by a private internment. The Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Willow Park Church, Kelowna.
