Kit arrived in Canada from Brighton, England on the ship Mauretania October 1944 – a hopefull excited war bride with her 10 month babe-in-arms, her husband wounded in action and in Winnipeg hospital. Kathleen and John settled in Saskatoon. She worked at Sally’s and Macy’s and raised her children, making many life-long friends wherever she went. She loved writing cards to everyone for anniversaries, birthdays, Christmas and Easter and we will miss that. Our deep appreciation to special friends, neighbors and medical staff whom she loved and who made her life complete – Teresa, Linda and Penny; Bill and Bonnie, Frank and Karole, Dr’s Warrender, Benoit, Render, Jefferies and Gagnon, RT, Glenda and Janelle. Her faith was very strong and we give thanks to Pastor Kentel, Reisdorf and Lee for their loving support.
