Feb. 8th, 1930 – Dec 3rd, 2008 Kerry passed peacefully and gently in the early hours of Dec. 3rd following a lengthy decline, after facing all the challenges associated with Alzheimer’s disease, with both courage and true spirit. Born in Burnaby B.C. he spent his childhood on the shores of Burrard inlet, and his early life there. He also lived in England for about 17 years, where he became a glass blower, then settled in Kelowna for the last 30 years or so. He was a gentle soul, a poet and an artist. Left to mourn his passing, and to celebrate his life are his wife Monica of 22 years. – Kerry, have missed you. We did our dance well. You did not die with your music left inside you. Be at peace. His daughters Lexie, Keren (Dan), Shari, Rene and Roxane. Grandchildren Dawn, Chelsea (Scott), David, William and Sarah, and great granddaughter Chloe. Also numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews and neices in England, and many good friends and neighbors. Special thanks goes to Dr. Dan Obedkoff, and for the loving care given by the special staff at Ethel Glen unit in Cottonwoods over the last 4 years. Cremation took place at Springfield funeral home on Friday Dec. 5th. No service by request.
