TANNER, Lance Howard

Lance passed away peacefully in his sleep with “His Girl” by his side at his home on Feb 16, 2017. Lance is survived by son, John Tanner and Frances Tanner their children; Morgan Tanner, Jordon Tanner and Zenaida;  grandchildren, Xylo and Zevi; 2nd son, Peter Tanner; brother, Uegene Tanner; “His Girl” Kerry and last but not least his cat Stubby. Also, many extended family and friends.   Predeceased by Patricia Tanner and two brothers Verne and George Tanner and his cat Pixie. Lance Tanner’s life was an adventure, he was one of the first Canadian soldiers to go to battle within 6 months of training.  He served in War 1939 – 1945. Lance was also was letter carrier for 30 years and RCMP Auxiliary Constable, Scuba diver instructor, hard rock carver and spent his time helping the SPCA.

A special thanks to the nurses and staff at Brookhaven care centre for there special care. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday March 11, 2017 at 11:00am at Everden Rust Funeral Services. 1910 Windsor Rd.
