Born July 31, 1922 in Dereham Ontario, Len passed away August 11, 2018 at Mountainview Village in Kelowna at age 96.
After growing up on a dairy farm in Ontario, he served in the Navy during WWII as a Shipwright. Len became a skilled carpenter and worked in the construction industry. He was passionate in woodworking and spent many retirement years making furniture, bowls, lamps and clocks. He was also an accomplished painter. Len loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, walking, skiing, golfing, square dancing and travelling.
Predeceased by his loving wife, Evelyn in 2015 after 70 years of marriage. Survived by 2 daughters Sylvia and Patricia, 2 grandchildren Crystal Poirier (Roger), Sybrena Albright (Ima), 3 great grandchildren Katelyn, Kevin, Ikoot. Survived by brother Maxwell (Margaret). Predeceased by brothers Albert, Frank and by sister Hilda Graydon. He will be sadly missed by family and friends.
A private Celebration of Life will be held by family only on a later date.
