Lena Rattray (Kreshewski, Imlach) was born January 4th, 1932 and passed away on July 10th, 2021. She was born in Marco, Regional District of Rossburn, Manitoba to Michael Kreshewski and Annie (Chequis) Kreshewski and was the fourth of six children. Lena married Robert Imlach in 1949 (deceased) and they had one daughter, Donna, who she gave birth to on May 30th, 1950. Lena married the love of her life, Les Rattray, on May 22nd, 1971 (deceased). Lena is survived by her daughter Donna (Imlach) Elliott, son-in-law Murray Elliott, her two granddaughters Lisa and Laura Elliott and her 3 great-grandchildren who know her as "Baba" - Petra, Kyoko and Archer. Her grandson, David, passed away in 2019.
Lena was passionate about caring for others and did so through her career as a pediatric nurse, devoted grandmother and dedicated member of the Alliance Church. Her family and friends remember her words of encouragement, her gift of hospitality, her compassion for others, her loving support, her feistiness and her love of adventure.
Due to the COVID restrictions, the family is arranging a closed service with Valleyview Funeral home.
