She is survived by her loving husband Alan Carter of 34 years; sons, Victor (Gabby) and Jayson (Crystal); daughter, Mary-Jane (Thomas); grandchildren, Scott, Ash, Fraser, Ashton and Tierra; stepsons, Barry (Andrea) and Greg (Patti). Predeceased by daughter, Leslie. She was a devoted wife, mother and friend to all who knew her.
Lovisa's passion was in the culinary world, where she explored all avenues while creating the most profound and delectable meals for her loved ones. She loved travel, adventure and most importantly to be with her family and friends, where she was the one to get everyone laughing. Her humor was contagious and brought so much joy to those around her. Lovisa created a fun environment everywhere she went! She will be cherished, remain in our hearts forever and will be greatly missed by all of those who had the honour of knowing her and sharing her life.
A celebration of Lovisa's life will be held at 11 am on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at The Manteo Resort, 3762 Lakeshore Road in Kelowna. In lieu of flowers, donations designated to JoeAnna's House Building Fund c/o The Kelowna General Hospital Foundation 2268 Pandosy Street, Kelowna, B.C. V1Y 1T2, would be greatly appreciated.
