September 16, 1965 - July 3, 2018
It is with great sadness and heartbreak we announce the sudden passing of Michael Leo Bourassa on July 3, 2018 at 52 years young.

Michael will be deeply missed by his loving wife Wendy Krauza, mother Alice Bourassa and family Celine Valestrand (Kjell), Jackie Bourassa, Louise Biggar (Rick), Emma Bourassa, Leanne Bourassa (Marc Landau), Dan Bourassa (Sylvia), in-laws Dian Aylwin and Alan Ferguson, and many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Michael was predeceased by his father, Leo Bourassa on October 6, 2008.

Born and raised in Prince George, Michael eventually settled in Kamloops in 2002. Michael was a remarkable soul with many talents and interests. He spent many years as a Safety Officer; however, he found his true passion in his pursuit of becoming a full Chef where he could thoroughly express his creative side. He was also accomplished in many other fields ranging from photography to carpentry to motor sports. He had an insatiable thirst for knowledge, loved the outdoors, fishing and camping, and getting together with family and friends. He had a quick wit and unmatched sense of humour and will be remembered for his infectious laugh and unconditional love for his family.

We love you and miss you Michael. Give Leo a hug for us.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 2 - 6 pm in Kelowna. Please contact a family member for more information.
