Norman Archibald McNabb

Passed from the arms of his family into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday August 19, 2008 at the age of 86 years. Born November 4, 1921 in Moose Jaw Saskatchewan, Norm served in the Royal Canadian Engineers in the Second World War, and met Jackie, the love of his life in Terrace B.C. They enjoyed 61 years of marriage together. Norm came to know Jesus late in life, but it made a profound impact on his entire being. He truly embraced the Lord and rejoiced in the love of God and the love of his family and friends right up until the moment he passed on. His infectious smile and gentle spirit was known and appreciated by all he met. Norm has led the way for his family to follow him after. He is survived by his loving wife Jackie his children Douglas (Mary Kaye) Gaye (Craig Coleman) Duncan (Cindi) John (Judy) Robyn (Stu Austin) Joy (Jim Bermel), 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and Norms sister Lillian. He will be dearly missed especially when the fish are biting. The fish wont be missing Poppa, but we sure will. The family would like to thank Dr. Emslie, and the caring staff of KGH, Douglas Fir Hospice, and Interior Health Care. A celebration of his life will be held on Friday August 22 at 1:30 at the Trinity Baptist Church, reception to follow.
