Norman Edward Linfoot


April 11, 1933 – August 24, 2013

Norman died peacefully and will

be lovingly remembered by his

wife Barbara; his children Steven, Stormee (Graig) Jensen, Stacey

(Darren) Bradbury; his step-children, Rodney Peters, Sheri (Cristiano) Dall’Acqua; and grandchildren,

Chase, Zachary, Jessica, Ella. He

was predeceased by his grandson, Hunter Bradbury and sister, Helen Cruickshank. Norman, a man of

principles was always ready with

an encouraging word. He faced

obstacles with strength and endurance. Norman’s career

experience began in 1950 with RCMP training in Ottawa and included the Musical Ride and Assistant Dog Master.

At the West coast, he was employed by Pacific Great

Eastern Railway (policing), B.C. Corrections (program

officer) and Pinkertons of Canada. Later, Norman enrolled in B.C.I.T., received a diploma in Accounting and worked as a government advisor in Indian Affairs. In Kelowna, he helped to establish Kelowna Homemakers (now long term care) and was briefly employed before retirement by Mission Irrigation District and Okanagan College. In retirement,

Norman volunteered at the Community Policing Office and C.N.I.B. Presently, he is enjoying another adventure to his eternal home saying “Hi Hunter !” to his grandson. Genesis 31:49 May the Lord watch between you and me when we are absent one from the other. A private family memorial

will be held at a later date.
