Predeceased by brothers, Alfred, Walter and stepson, Roly. Olga was born on a farm near Colonsay, Saskatchewan, the eldest of a family of six. She married Keith Jones in 1941 and homesteaded in the Choiceland area. In 1954, they moved to Saskatoon where she worked as a seamstress and became the treasurer of her union, a testament to her meticulous honesty and financial acumen. Keith died in 1979. In 1983 she married Ed Abrahamson and they moved to Kelowna. There they made many friends at Hiawatha Trailer park and later at the Fountains, where they honed their skills at bridge and crib and participated in outings of the OK Noggins RV Club. Her beloved Eddie passed away in 2000 and six years later Olga moved to The Chatsworth, where she made many new friendships. Throughout her life, Olga tended numerous fruit and Vegetable gardens, but she especially loved roses. The family would like to thank the staff at Chatsworth for providing a supportive environment. A very special thanks to Dr. Michael Bobyn for his devoted care of both Olga and Ed and to the nurses and staff at the palliative care unit in Cottonwoods, who helped make Olga’s departure gentle and peaceful. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice House or the Cancer Clinic.
