Passed away peacefully with her daughter and granddaughter by her side on Friday, December 9, 2016 at the age of 95. Survived by her daughter Patricia (Ian) MacLean of Kelowna, BC, son Michael (Anne) Warby of Brampton, ON; grandchildren Jason (Susan) Warby, Michelle (Greg) Wood, Jamie and Sarah MacLean; great grandchildren Megan and Grayson Wood and Leah Warby; sister Jean Dowber of Orillia, ON, brother Jim (Liz) Filyer of Bancroft, ON, sister-in-law Irene Leister of Midland, ON and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Mae, Ruth, Marie and brother Jack.
Warm thanks for wonderful end of life care to the Kelowna General Hospital Palliative Care Team and the staff and volunteers at Hospice House. A Memorial Reception will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016 from 2 - 4 pm at the Springfield Funeral Home Family Centre, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna.
