FERENCIC, Peter
Peter passed away on October 25, 2016 at Spring Valley Care Center in Kelowna. He is survived by his loving wife Maria and sister Nada (Momo). Predeceased by his parents Ferdin and Bara Ferencic and sister Ivka in Croatia.
Peter was born in the small village of Kupcina Zumberacka, Croatia. He met and married his wife Marija in Istra, Croatia. In search of a better life they immigrated to Canada, and settled in Kelowna. For better part of his life, Peter worked in a mill making wooden crates for the orchard industry. Peter enjoyed his retirement, fishing and working in his garden. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 6:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 10:30 am at Corpus Christi Parish, 750 Rutland Road, Kelowna, BC.
