January 18, 1954-December 24, 2008. It is with much sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Rick at the age of 54. He was predeceased by his father, Walter Serhan. He is survived by his loving mother, Leona Stocker (Victor), brothers, Carey (Karen), Kevin (Elaine), Jarrod (Nancy, Janna, Janine (Tony), Jeff, nieces and nephews, Amber (Dale), Ashley (Stacy), Kimberly, Hunter, Jeremy, Jordan, Josh, numerous Aunts and Uncles. Rick spent the last several years living in Kamloops designing decorative hunting knives and swords for many people around B.C. He also loved working with his lathe and milling machines designing his own parts and equipment. He was also known for his ability of acquiring old and obsolete audio and video machines that were of no further use to the many TV stations up and down the valley, which he would then refurbish and use for his own collection. Many would remember Rick for the 1950’s Harley Davidson motorcycle he spent many hours working on, or riding around the city. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. A memorial service will not be held at this time, but will be announced at a later date. Condolences may be sent to the family by email to
