It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Shaughnessy at Kelowna General Hospital on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at the age of 63.
Bob's working career was as a public servant in Municipal Government. His last 30 years were with the City of Kelowna. He took an early retirement from his last position of Subdivision Approving Officer at age 54.
Bob is survived by his wife and soul-mate, Bobbi Harder, his daughter Karlie (Sean), son Aaron, mother Kelly, brother Mike, sister Colleen, and many more extended family members. Bob is predeceased by his father, Joe and sister, Janet. There will be no service at Bob's request. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Special thanks go to the staff at Kelowna General Hospital - in particular Dr. Din who was exceptional, and the ICU nursing staff; Leslie for her compassionate help that made Bob's last hour with his wife touching, and Sabrina, Sharon and Brenda.
