COUSINS, Robert Edward
Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 in his 87th year. He will be missed by his loving family, son David (Lynne), grandchildren Scott (Trish), Nathan (Megan), Ashley (Kemil), great-grandchildren Aiden & Addison Cousins, sister Lois Low, sisters-in-law Anita Murray, Evelyn Neigum, Margurite Wellman and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his loving wife Therese, his parents Edward and Letha Cousins, and sister Diana Patterson.
Bob was born in West Summerland, spent his early years in Beaverdell and moved to Kelowna in his teens. He was a loyal employee of Midvalley & Emil Anderson Construction for 31 years. In his retirement, he enjoyed golfing, going on road trips, morning coffee at the A&W and spending time with family.
Bob’s family is grateful for the excellent care he received from Dr. Ben Weise and the amazing staff at Cottonwoods’ Ethel Glen Unit.
At Bob’s request, there will be no service. Family and friends are invited to a reception in his honour Sunday, April 23, 2017 from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. at 1401 Glenmore Road North, Kelowna, B.C. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, 565 10th Ave. W, Vancouver, BC V5Z 9Z9.
