Ruby Dyck passed away Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Kelowna General Hospital in her 89th year. She was predeceased by her husband Alvin P. Dyck, son John McNaughton, first husband Kurt McNaughton, parents John and Olga Plunkie, older brother Walter Plunkie and sister in law Helen Plunkie. She is survived by her younger brother Harvey (Arlas), nephew Grant (Barbara), niece Joanne and many cousins.

She was born in Leduc, Alberta and moved to Chilliwack as a young woman and then to Kelowna where she worked in the Admitting Department at Kelowna General for many years. She met and married Alvin and gained two sons Ken (Judi), Dallas (Sheila) and a daughter Eileen (Dave) Hondl. She was a huge part in the lives of her seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed by all her family. She made many friends during her lifetime in Chilliwack and Kelowna and enjoyed the many visits with them both at home and during her stay in the hospital.

A graveside service will take place on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 10 am at Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery with a reception to follow at the Salvation Army, 1480 Sutherland Avenue.
