Shirley Anne Heseltine (nee Phillips)

December 8, 1949 – September 29, 2013

Born in Toronto, ON, she passed away suddenly to be with her Lord and Savior during the early morning in Westbank, BC. Shirley married Norman H. Heseltine

on May 31, 1975 at the Trinity United Church in Guelph, ON. After living in several places over the years, the family settled in British Columbia in 1980. Shirley attended the Westbank Foursquare Church and was guided by biblical principles. For several years, Shirley was very active in the Westside Community Food Bank until unable to continue. She was well loved and touched many lives and will be greatly missed. Throughout her many years of battling cancer she had the courage and strength to truly live life to its fullest no matter what. With a positive outlook, Shirley demonstrated to others that her relationship with her Savior provided her joy despite her deteriorating health. Survived by her loving husband, Norman H. Heseltine; sons Don James and Shawn Scott (Laura); stepchildren Norman Gene, Scott Irwin, Sherrie-Lee Diane and by her grandchildren Jade and Noah. She will also be missed by many nephews and friends. A Celebration of Shirley’s Life will be held 1:00 P.M., Monday, October 7, 2013 at Emmanuel Church, 2600

Hebert Rd., Westbank, BC with Pastor Derrick Hamre officiating. A special thank you to all the staff at Lakeview Lodge for their love and care shown to Shirley over the past few months. She absolutely loved being there because of your care. Thank you to the wonderful and caring staff at Kelowna General Hospital and Dr. Gustavsson. In lieu

of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the BC Cancer Foundation.
