FRANKENBERGER, Theresa

1919 - 2017

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of

Theresa Frankenberger, born on December 11, 1919, died on August 5, 2017. Predeceased by her loving husband of 64 years, Edmund, in 2004. Survived by her two daughters Erna (Bob) Fortier and Linda (Les) Kiss; two granddaughters Deanna (Dave) Notte and Danielle Kiss; also two great-grandchildren Jacob and Lindsay Notte, several nieces and nephews. Ed and Theresa arrived in Canada from Germany in 1947, settling in Saskatchewan until 1966 when they moved to Surrey, B.C. , then to Kelowna in 1980.

Theresa was a very loving and caring mother; family was the most important to her.  She was happiest when she was in her kitchen baking and cooking especially for family occasions. She always kept busy with sewing, quilting, gardening, reading or other activities. Theresa was a very hard working and giving person and enjoyed helping others. She spent many hours volunteering with the CWL, Cottonwoods, PL thrift shop and Village at Mill Creek. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

We the family give our heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Village at Mill Creek for making her feel so valued and special during her time there.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Assn. may be made in Theresa's memory.
