BACHELDER, VERA ETHEL
Vera Ethel Bachelder passed away on April 7, 2016 at The Village at Smith Creek at the age of 92, surrounded by her loving family. Vera was born March 6, 1924 in North Shefford, Quebec and waspredeceased by her husband, Granville in 2011. Vera will be missed by son John(Cindy) Bachelder, daughters Janice(Mark) Greenley and Bev Shalagan; grandchildren; David, Brady, Anna, Melissa (Jonathan), Kelsey (Steve), Rachel(Shawn), Wesley(Carly) and Jessica; great-grandchildren: Mark, Alex and Madison. Vera was an avid gardener and was often admired for her green thumb. She was a devoted homemaker and loving grandmother. Her grandchildren have fond memories of sleepovers, feeding the ducks, cozy handmade blankets and helping Grammie in her beautiful garden. She was an active member of her church for many years and enjoyed being a helping hand. Her zesty spirit will be missed. Special thanks to Fernbrae Manor and Village at Smith Creek. There will be no service by request. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to World Vision.
