In Loving memory of Yvonne Marie Faulkner (nee Fredrikson) who was born on September 22, 1959. Yvonne passed away peacefully, surrounded and held dearly by family on June 22, 2017 in Kelowna, British Columbia. It is with profound sadness and total disbelief that I announce the sudden passing of my beloved and forever cherished Yvonne. She was predeceased by her loving mother, Dolly Fredrikson in 1968 and her very dear middle sister, Susan Huberfellner in 2004. Yvonne leaves her husband, soulmate and partner in all life’s adventures since 1976, Daniel Faulkner. She was blessed with one very much loved, cherished and respected son, William Daniel (Billy) who was born in 1986 and his soulmate and loving partner, Jen Mitchell. Also Yvonne’s youngest sister, Gail Fredrikson, a very special and loving sister. She is and always will be so loved. Yvonne was a very special lady of many accomplishments. She loved to garden, she was a fantastic painter, talented potter and very avid tennis player. In 2016 she became a master gardener. She loved to walk in nature, enjoying all of its soul, grace and beauty. Yvonne was a true advocate for all animals and insects and in the last three years she developed a big and beautiful pollinator garden at her home for her beloved bees and other Beneficial’s, as she would call them. She always said no bees, no food.
Yvonne you were truly taken from us much too early and you will be forever missed and always, always in our hearts, minds and souls. Through you, we are all better for knowing and loving you; until we can hold and kiss each other again.For as long as wind blows, grass grows and the sky is blue I will always, always Love You!! Dan
As we come together let us all celebrate the miracle of organ donation. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the SPCA or a charity of your choice.
A Celebration of Life will take place at the Okanagan Mission Community Hall, 4409 Lakeshore Road in Kelowna on Sunday, July 9th, 2017 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm
