Bus riders need to give drivers their support

To my fellow bus riders:

You need to talk to your bus drivers. Find out what happened to the strike and why we still have service after 96 per cent voted in favor of a strike).

We need to stand by our drivers because they stood by us.

All you students from high school,  college, and university, you will soon be out in the work force, so Google BC Transit and check Kelowna’s contract with other BC Transit contracts. Not all bosses are fair. Our drivers are not treated fairly.

When buses are late or broken down and you miss your connection don’t take it out on the bus driver, they are just doing their job. Take it to the top.

Kelowna (transit) is privately owned. Why?  Kelowna why are the profits going into (the owner’s) pocket when they should be going into the City of Kelowna.

Wake up people and smell the coffee. Things need to change.
