To the editor:
On Easter Sunday morning, my 97-year-old friend Nancy had a fall. I was called by the alert line and went to her home. Shortly thereafter, three firemen arrived at her door. These wonderful, kind, respectful men, checked her over to make sure she wasn’t injured, then helped her to get on her feet and into bed. We are so grateful for their help and their wonderful attitude. And we are so grateful to live in this amazing country, where we can get this help. Thank you, and a hug to the three men whose names we don’t know, but whose kindness will be remembered.
