To the editor:
I have been a strong supporter of Shaw (cable TV) through the years but last night killed that idea.
We were going to watch some TV last night and went to their Classics for a change. They had a serial on and we started to watch it through five episodes, then it just died.
I could not believe it. Why, on Shaw, should this same damn thing happen?
We quit the last supplier that had this Classics on for the same reason, and had phoned them to find out why. They told me that they cannot control the output from their station (which I did not believe) and I am supposed to go along with this situation all over again.
This has made me very mad, and I suppose that it has happened to all of us at some time or another along with the increased volume of the commercials that goes on as well.
I will say this: We all pay for the lousy garbage that they produce and put up with it, and thank God that the weather is improving and that the golf course does let us par that hole without the TV telling us how.
