Re: Electric Vehicle Charging Set-up Part of 30-station B.C. Network, April 14 Kelowna Capital News.
I read the above-mentioned article in the April 14 edition, and have to say that I am incensed by it!
Can anyone explain why someone who buys an electric vehicle should get free power via city-owned and supplied ‘public charging stations’?
I have vehicles which get very good fuel-mileage (my motorcycle gets as much as 73 mpg—24 km/l or 4.2l/100 km—while our car gets as much as 40 mpg—14 km/L or 7 L/100 kms—but I do not see anyone lining up city revenues to supply me with gasoline.
How can this story not generate any public opposition?
