To the editor:
Can someone please, please, please tell me why the phone book (White Pages or Yellow Pages) will indicate a business is in Kelowna when it is indeed in West Kelowna?
I wanted to take friends visiting to the wineries here in West Kelowna. I was shocked at how many indicated they were in Kelowna so I passed on visiting those ones only to find out they were only minutes away from my home here in West Kelowna.
I now make it a point to phone them and ask them: “Are you really in Kelowna?”
What good is a phone book if the address is incorrect for so many businesses?
