To the editor:
I am a retired member of the Canadian Institute of Planners and I am totally opposed to use lakefront property for any building whatsoever.
An example of the consequence is the use of lakefront by the Lakeside Resort in Penticton, resulting in the permanent loss of prime beach front for recreational enjoyment by Penticton residents and tourists.
