Letter to the editor.

To the editor:

Where are our priorities?

In just one year, 2015, the number of terrorist attacks was 11,774.

The number of innocent people killed was 28,328.

The number of innocent people injured was 35,320.

The number of innocent people kidnapped was 12,189

Our politicians and media concentrated on climate change and Donald Trump’s withdrawal from the Paris Accord Treaty.

We should be pushing for a united front on eliminating terrorism. Certainly preventing this carnage should take priority over controlling our weather. The in thing right now seems to be Trump bashing.

We need some leadership, so Mr. Trudeau, give up on your pipe-line promise just like you gave up on electoral reform. Get your priorities in order.
