Letter: Westbank is not central location for district offices

I personally feel that Westbank is hardly central to the entire area of the District of West Kelowna.

To the editor:

In response to the letter from Del Funk, in Friday, May 3, Capital News (West Kelowna Needs a Heart).

I personally feel that Westbank is hardly central to the entire area of the District of West Kelowna.

I would also point out that West Kelowna is not a town but a district. A district which stretches all the way from the Peachland border to halfway to Vernon.

I think a city hall should be located further north on Hwy 97. However, should that not be an option, my suggestion would be to use the former Zellers and Extra Foods Mall. This area has roads, parking and transit in place and the site is large enough to support such a project.
