I hate to say it, but we, as a human race, are the sickest we have ever been in recorded history.

Even in lieu of all of our scientific advances, unfortunately we are the sickest race that is walking this earth at present.

We have more cardiovascular diseases, cancer, degenerative, autoimmune and systemic diseases than ever recorded before in history. Obesity and diabetes are skyrocketing.

We must be doing something wrong. We are quickly learning that the answer is not in a pill.

Our body is designed to be healthy, in fact it is its natural state.

So why is it that we’ve ended up where we are?

I believe the single most profound contributor to our present day state is simply what we are eating.

For example, in the 1900s people consumed on average 15 grams of sugar a day. Today, it is as much as 150 g a day.

That’s 150 pounds of sugar a year in conjunction with approximately 79 pounds of high fructose corn syrup per year.

It is a scientific fact that this leads to many, many chronic debilitating diseases alone.

So how are we supposed to eat? What do we eat? What do we trust and not trust?

There’s no shortage of books and programs available to the general public on this matter but by the time we read them all it may be too late.
