You must never leave Kelowna.
Your first paragraph happens everywhere. Boat launches—where are you going? West Kelowna just added tons of parking for trailers, Eldorado has the biggest boat launch parking I’ve seen anywhere.
Tourist Information is located on a three-lane highway. Heading east, there is a left turn signal even (not many of those I will admit).
I was born and raised here and all those years ago the powers that be at the time decided they wanted visitors to go through town so they stopped here. That’s why, rather than building a bypass, they made the main road bigger.
Not only in Kelowna, been to Vernon lately, to name just one?
So, when are you planning on running for council to have a voice? Go to Kimberley, they have the fanciest and quite beautiful fire hydrants around. Dresses things up, I think.
