Following a win over the hometown Edmonton Oilers in Game 3, the Anaheim Ducks are making an escape from hostile territory with a stop this week in the Okanagan.

With two days off before Game 4 of their NHL playoff series, Ducks will relocate to Kelowna for practises Tuesday and Wednesday at Prospera Place, according to the Edmonton Sun.

“It’s just that we felt with the game being early on Sunday (5 p.m.) and with the two day break that it would be good to get away by ourselves a little bit and do our thing. It’s about calming things down, settling down,” Ducks coach Randy Caryle told Terry Jones of the Edmonton Sun. “We’ll practice Monday and Tuesday there.

“It was just an option made available to us.”
