The Kelowna Volleyball Club 16U girls team, Kwest, finished in fourth place at Volleyball Canada’s 16U Western Canada Championship in Calgary on the May long weekend.
Ranked 14th heading into the event, Kwest won its pool with a 3-0 record, then defeated Manitoba in the quarterfinals.
After a loss to a team from Calgary in the semi-finals, KVC fell just short in the bronze medal match losing 24-26 in the third set.
Fourth place was the best finish by any Interior team.
