Lind earns POW

The Rockets forward has been named the WHL Player of the Week for the week of Jan. 30 to Feb. 5.

Kole Lind’s stellar WHL season is continuing.

The Rockets forward has been named the WHL Player of the Week for the week of Jan. 30 to Feb. 5.

Lind put up three assists in an 8-2 Rockets victory on Feb. 1 against the Calgary Hitmen.

He then followed that up with two goals in a 3-2 victory over the Prince George Cougars last weekend before helping his team complete a sweep of the Cougars in Prince George, with a goal and two assists versus the Cougars in the Rockets 5-1 win.

Lind amassed a total of three goals and five assists for eight points in three games last week.

You can catch Lind and the rest of the Rockets when they take on another B.C. division rival Wednesday night in Kamloops.

Kelowna will return home on Friday, Feb. 10 when the Vancouver Giants are in town.
