The high watermark for BCHL players selected in a single draft is 12 and while it’s unlikely that will be matched this year, it is still expected several players will hear their names called this weekend at Consol Energy Centre.
Friday’s 2012 NHL Entry Draft in Pittsburgh offers an opportunity for a number of BCHL players to realize a dream. In the last Central Scouting rankings, seven BCHL players were listed.
Also, for what it’s worth, one Jake Ware of BleacherReport.com took the time to mock up an entire seven-round draft. He has five BCHLers being taken.
