The Okanagan Rockets looked solid in sweep two games from the Greater Vancouver Canadians.

Coming off a convincing sweep of the Greater Vancouver Canadians, the Okanagan Rockets return to home ice for a doubleheader against the Vancouver Northwest Giants.

The clubs meet in B.C.Major Midget League action Saturday at 3 p.m. and Sunday at 10 a.m. at CNC.

The Rockets are 3-1-0 after scoring 12 times and beating the Canadians twice last weekend at the BCMML Showcase in Richmond.

On Friday, Okanagan prevailed 6-3. Max Kryski paced the Rockets' attack with a hat-trick, including the game winner. Dylan Prpich, Wyatt Head and  Eli Zummack, with an empty netter, rounded out the scoring.

On Saturday, the Rockets had GV's number again with a 6-2 win.

With his second of the weekend Zummack broke a 2-2 third period tie just past the seven-minute mark, and that stood up as the game winner.

Brandon Della Paolera, Jeff Karpowich, Coleton Bilodeau, Seth Barton and Kryski also scored to secure a weekend sweep.

The Rockets also benefitted from strong goaltending over the weekend, with Owen Partrick making 29 saves in each game.

This weekend's games at CNC  will be available on the PPV video feed at www.playfullscreen.com, and on the Rockets' live audio broadcast at www.mixlr.com/okanaganrockets.
