PHOTOS: Strikeout cancer slo-pitch tournament a hit in Kelowna

More than 150 players are competing in the tournament

Many slowpitch teams gathered in Kelowna to help strike out cancer.

From Friday, June 2 to Sunday, June 4, the Strike Out Cancer Canadian slow pitch tournament is being held at Mission Recreation Park.

More than 150 players are playing in the co-ed tournament that follows the National Softball Association (NSA) Canada rules.

The first and second-place teams will be receiving a cash prize.

A home run derby is also taking place during the tournament.

Admission is free to the public and there is a concession stand and a beer garden at the park.
