A week after teammate Damon Severson signed an NHL deal, Kelowna Rockets’ captain Colton Sissons has done the same.

The 18-year-old North Vancouver native this week inked a three-year entry level deal with the Nashville Predators.

Sissons was selected in the second round, 50th overall by the Predators in the 2012 NHL entry draft.

The 6-foot-1, 187-pound Sissons scored 26 goals and had 41 points during the 2011-12 WHL campaign, his second with the Rockets. He led the club in power play goals with 13.

Sissons also captained Team Orr to a 2-1 victory at the 2012 Home Hardware Top Prospects Game and served as an alternate captain for Team WHL at the 2011 Subway Super Series.

Last week Severson, an 18-year-old defenceman with the Rockets, signed an entry level deal with the New Jersey Devils.
