Rourke Chartier returns to Kelowna lineup and scores in 2-1 win

The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Kamloops Blazers 2-1 in WHL action on Saturday night at Prospera Place, splitting a weekend home-and-home with the Blazers.

The Rockets improved to 51-13-4-1 on the season with the win.

Rockets captain Madison Bowey scored his 16th of the season in the second period to snap a 1-1 tie.

Rourke Chartier returned to the Rockets lineup and opened the scoring with his 47th marker of the season.

Jackson Whistle earned the win in net as Kamloops outshot Kelowna 30-26.

The Rockets now have just three games left in the WHL regular season. Kelowna will host the Seattle Thunderbirds on Wednesday at Prospera Place before closing out the season with a home and home against the Vancouver Giants next weekend.
