Seven different scorers for the Rockets who play Vancouver Saturday

The Kelowna Rockets scored three quick goals in the first period and never looked back as they defeated the Prince George Cougars 7-3 Friday night at Prospera Place in Kelowna.

Seven different Rockets scored on the night as the Rockets won their fifth game in a row and improved to 28-20-0-0 in the WHL BC division.

Colton Sissons, Shane McColgan and Geordie Wudrick scored in the first period; Kevin Smith and Evan Bloodoff scored in the second and Zach Franko and Cody Chikie scored in the third period.

Wudrick’s goal was his team leading 26th while Franko extended his point scoring streak to 12 games with his goal. Chikie had a goal and thee assists in the victory.

Kelowna will face Vancouver tomorrow night at Prospera Place.
