Dillon Dube’s power play goal at 3:13 of the third period boosted the Kelowna Rockets to a 3-2 victory over the Vancover Giants Friday night in WHL action at the Langley Events Centre.

The Rockets (13-8-2-1), who closed out a stretch of three straight games on the road, ended a two-game slide,

Carsen Twarynski, with his team-leading 14th of the season, and Kyle Topping, with his 10th, also scored for Kelowna.

James Porter made 32 saves for the Rockets who were outshot 32-24.

The Rockets, who have won seven straight games at home, will host the Medicine Hat Tigers (15-8-0-0) Saturday night.
