Rockets win streak ends

The Kamloops Blazers defeated the Kelowna Rockets 4-0 on Saturday night in Kamloops, snapping the Rockets winning streak at six games.

The Rockets (10-11-0-0) are now idle until a pair of games in Prince George next Friday and Saturday nights.

In the meantime Rockets defenceman Tyson Barrie and coach Ryan Huska will be taking part in the Subway Super Series against Team Russia.

Huska is the head coach of Team WHL for both games of the series Nov. 17 in Kamloops and Nov. 18 in Prince George.

Barrie will play in the game in the game in Prince George before the Rockets and Cougars hit the ice Nov. 19 and 20.
