Nice 3-2 win sets the stage for another game Saturday night against Prince George

The West Kelowna Warriors posted a thrilling 3-2 victory over visiting Merritt on Friday night.

Marcus Basara’s goal with 1:10 to play in the third period snapped a 2-2 tie and sent the Warriors to the win.

It was his second goal of the game as the Warriors scored three straight to earn the win. Seb Lloyd had the other Warriors marker as West Kelowna scored three straight to come from behind.

The win moves the Warriors Now tied with the Centennials for second in the Interior Conference,

West Kelowna plays host to Prince George on Saturday.
