The Tri-City Americans have taken a 2-1 series lead on Kelowna with a 2-0 win Tuesday night at Prospera Place in Kelowna.

Drew Owsley made 31 saves in a first star performance to help Tri-City to the win.

The Rockets outshot Tri-City 31-24 but couldn’t solve Owsley in the loss.

Johnny Lazo and Sergei Drozd scored for the Americans.

Game four goes tomorrow night, 7 p.m., at Prospera Place in Kelowna.
